This is Gavin. He's an elf with now clothes on because I haven't figured out what he wears. Instead enjoy proposed tattoo ideas, placement of scars and limited expressions.

And last but not least this is Topher. He's a regular ol' human. He's just a regular college student studying to become a vet. Oh yeah, he's in super debt because of school. Sounds like the perfect target to help turn a bat back to a girl.

hey guys so it's been a super long time hasn't it? sorry about that. i sorta maybe got a tumblr account that's been super easy to post to so i may have neglected here a bit. as well as the fact that work(s) had me bogged down thanks to the holiday/retail season. 60 hour work weeks are not fun kids. i'm actually surprised i didn't spiral down into a crippling depression during these past two months... hrmmm....

Finally! A post about NYCC! I don't really know what to say because the whole con was a blur! It was amazing and I really wish I'd wandered around the comic and anime art alleys more!

Friday was short since I had to work and I was only really able to see the Venture Bros panel that day.

Saturday was hectic. I'm mad at myself for only really wandering the main exhibition floor. I'll have to do another update with pics of what I bought because everyone was extremely nice even if I was somewhat of an awkward nerd at times.

One of the worst things about the Jacob Javtiz convention center is their lack of 3G and the fact that you had to pay for Wi-Fi so most of the time it was a blackhole of signal which didn't help with Sunday and trying to reach Pat for the Walking Dead Panel. BUT I'm super excited for the Walking Dead show on AMC. it's going to be FUCKING FANTASTIC.

I still have lots to read and definitely more to post but i sort of just wanted to update the blog with some sketches of NYCC that I did.

Next post should be with pictures of what I bought and the post after that will be of zombies that i've been drawing for the past couple of weeks.

Also! MangaNext is in New Jersey Halloween weekend and I'll be there with my table-husband Stevie and Pat the hat wearing guy. Not too much new will be there though I'll prolly be doing some nice cheap zombie-portrait commissions just to get into the Halloween spirit.

hey blog! are you missing the Sometimes Adventures comics? well you shouldn't look here you should be at the actual comic page! having said that i made a special edition of Sometimes Adventures where i explain how to bake a simple and moist pumpkin cupcakes/cakes.

anyway, got the recipe from AllRecipes.com. i LOVE that website cuz you can just have a vague idea of food and put it into the search and suddenly you're salivating over things that you can make!

I did this in 20 minutes.

I'm in a highly caffeinated state and I'm up way too long. I have a full day of work but I've been brimming with energy. I've pencilled about three pages of the new Chapter2 of SometimesAdventures at work. I finished the last page of chapter1 today and it'll be up for wednesday and I read a few chapters of Breathers and I cooked dinner and I played Bioshock2: Minerva's Den DLC, and I'm not tired. I mean I am but i don't want it to end and....

sorry this isn't my Livejournal so you don't need to hear this. anyway, leftover energy had me create that guy with the lily. Enjoy him.

I have a blog! I feel like i should be updating this thing more often. anyway, these are all just sketches, nothing finished just yet, but i know when i see other artists i love seeing sketches and their processes. anyway, here are arts so you know that i'm not totally slacking despite life issues.

So! this is NOT an update of the Sometimes Adventures! Obviously you can tell since there's no comic.

Anyway, Otakon is at the end of the month and as usual it's time to scramble to get art done in time for the convention. So on your right you see some One Piece buttons i did since i became a bit obsessed with the series.

So enjoy looking at the two Brook pins, the laboon pin, and the Chopper pin. They'll be available at the end of July at Otakon!

Other art is coming around slow but I am trying to get some nice BIG prints ready for Otakon so wish me luck!

Just some Diary comics for this mid-April. The feelings of accomplishment that i'm trying to capture I suppose. I need to keep arting though. I've been feeling a bit more happier now that I'm drawing more and my job isn't upsetting me as much, because I just keep thinking "i'll draw when i get home".

Anyway, should I use Flikr to make the images a lot bigger and easier to read or is what I'm doing ok?

i hate my job. i hate that they stopped letting me draw so i can stare out at the nothingness. anyway, i've been helping out another branch and I haven't felt comfortable just whipping out my sketchbook there, but i've been drawing on their blank pads of paper and that's why they're in varying sizes of scrap. anyway the 23rd and the 24th.

and the 25th! the day before PAX in which I'm more than impatient to get the fuck out of there.

whut? where am I? oh right! i have a blog! guh! sorry for not updating, it's been such a weird couple of weeks as far as work goes. can't draw at work anymore (stupid bank) so it cuts majorly on when i can draw. plus it doesn't help that i haven't found a suitable theme for the month. sorry!

well, i just came back from PAX East today. Amazing three days of just being surrounded by nerds. Not in a bad way, but seeing Magic the Gathering nerds, with PC console nerds, next to D&D nerds, it was just really awesome to feel so completely at home. I wish i could've tried out more things, maybe learned some more about the geekier games, but i feel more comfortable i guess for next year. hopefully i'll get some diary comics going for some time in April for my experience there.

BUT now that PAX is over it's now time to get ready for AnimeBoston. Heading back to the same convention center and the same hotel that I just was at but this time selling artwork! got some new things going for the con. i've got one new print, zombie penny, 6 new buttons, pokemon and bioschok, AND I'm going to try out bookmarks! two bioshock ones as well as a bad horse chorus bookmark and the fan favorite of Captain Hammer making sure you know that the hammer is his penis.

I'll be at table M22 with the rest of Cursing Coffee Productions! Stevie and Pat!

(FINALLY). two new posts because it's TUESDAY!! why is this significant to you, oh loyal reader? because i've decided to do a small schedule of posting. so instead of daily updates of "hey stuff is up" i'll just be posting several pieces on Tuesdays and Fridays. So there'll be at least three postings on those days. spiffy right? It'll sync up better next week but for now enjoy sunday and monday's dressings.

also, next month it has been decided that it'll be slash couples month, i guess in a bit of a tribute to valentines day. probably be more sketchy than this months postings are since it'll be two people, but yeah. Gay couples with a new series every week. Shiny?
